A little weather, for context

Beside Care
1 min read

A rainy afternoon or a cold snap explains a lot about a quiet day. Your check-in can now include a single line about the weather where your loved one lives, so that context is already there without you having to go look it up.

Where to find it: it appears as a short line near the bottom of your Daily Digest email, and in the details band on the check-in in the portal. It shows on quiet days too, which is usually when it is most useful.

How to turn it on: this one needs their ZIP code, and it stays off until you add it. Open Settings, go to the person's profile, and add their ZIP where it asks where they live. We use that ZIP only to look up local weather. It is never shown as a place name, never shared, and never used for anything else. Leave it blank, or clear it later, and the weather line simply stops appearing.
